My eyelash extensions entail a meticulous, detailed process by a qualified eyelash technician.
After applying under eye pads to cover your lower lashes, your eyelashes are then assessed for the thickness that they can hold.
We then begin application by isolating a single natural lash, picking an extension, dipping in the adhesive and applying to that isolated lash.
It is extremely important that the applied lash stay isolated for the amount of drying time the particular adhesive requires. (Eg dries in 2-3seconds, make sure it’s isolated for 2-3seconds)
This will prevent other lashes sticking together and causing quite a thick un-individual chunky look.
Isolation is the key!
It’s imperative that 1 extension is attached to only 1 natural lash. If you find that your eyelid around the lashes is a bit itchy or irritable about a week after application, it could be that your extension is sharing a couple of lashes. As your lashes grow at different rates (and sometimes slightly different directions), they are being pulled out of the lash shaft by the attaching extension. This will cause lash damage.
